History of Viva Film Productions

Viva Film Productions began with Manoubi Amri and Glyn Wade deciding to establish a Film Group based in Stoke-On-Trent. Soon they were joined by other local film makers, writers and producers. The Group developed a first full feature script ''Byriani Western', a comedy drama based in an Indian Restaurant, the script is now awaiting funding. Earlier in 2000, the group produced a short Film 'Honours', shot in super 16mm and featured a star guest appearance by Antonio Fargas ( Huggie Bear), the film was directed by Manoubi Amri. At present the Group has completed another short 'The Chemist' and are currently shooting a documentary 'Limousine Dreams' based on the use of American Limousines in Stoke-On-Trent.

The Group is hoping to produce a full feature film within the next year and put Stoke-On-Trent on the road for the Film makers City of the Midlands.
